Aryan Khan Denied Bail In Mumbai Cruise Drug Bust Case, To Spend The Weekend In Jail
The NCB has reportedly so far arrested 18 people, including Aryan Khan, in connection with the case.
A Mumbai court Friday rejected the bail plea of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs from a Goa-bound cruise ship off the Mumbai coast, an India Today report has said. Aryan Khan and seven other accused in the case were remanded in 14-day judicial custody on Thursday. The court had rejected the NCB's plea for their further custody for interrogation.
According to a News18.com report, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R M Nerlikar rejected the bail pleas of Aryan Khan and the other two accused on Friday. The India Today report adds that the court said that the applications are not maintainable before it. Further, they will have to apply for bail before a special NDPS court. The plea will not be filed on Saturday or Sunday, as courts remain closed. It can now only be filed on Monday.
Besides Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchantt, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra were arrested following the raid on the Goa-bound ship, owned by Cordelia Cruises. The NCB claimed to have seized 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA, 5 grams of MD and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash during the raid.

Aryan Khan's lawyer has reportedly claimed no drugs were recovered from his client's possession. He is currently lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, multiple reports have said.
